NECA's expanded view of an AOCN's role
Our Call Routing & Rating services go beyond merely maintaining company network information in industry databases. Our experienced staff has been trained to guide service providers through the regulation-laden and procedure-heavy telecommunications industry by assisting with the assignment of various code sets and forms such as:
- Company Codes (OCN)
- Central Office Codes (NXXs)
- Revenue Accounting Office (RAO) Codes
Our team of trained professionals will attempt to help you identify and resolve any network problems you may experience as they relate to your company's routing and rating data. In addition, as your company's designated AOCN, we will work to ensure that discrepancies do not exist between your NECA Tariff No. 4 and TelcordiaTM LERGTM data. To appoint NECA as your AOCN and authorize us to update rating and routing data on your behalf, complete, sign and return the Service Contract.
NECA will also assist with the completion and submission of the Central Office Code Assignment Request Form (Part 1) and the mandatory Confirmation of Code in Service Form (Part 4).
To authorize NECA to apply for Central Office codes and file required usage forms on your behalf, complete, sign and return the NANP Administration System (NAS) form.
