Fifteen rural high school students come to Washington

For the seventh year, NECA proudly sponsors the Foundation for Rural Education and Development’s (FRED) Leadership Through Learning program.  The foundation was created by OPASTCO to address the educational and developmental needs of rural areas.  Through this program, 15 rural high school juniors spend a week in Washington, D.C. learning about our federal government and the role of telecommunications in rural America.
