NECA is a proud sponsor of the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS). The foundation was created by NTCA to promote, educate and publicly advocate rural telecom issues to sustain and enhance the rural way of life throughout America. FRS has created various educational programs to achieve this goal. Among the programs offered annually are a youth tour, a college scholarship program, a customer outreach series, an image and awareness campaign, and a rural youth survey.
