01.30.17 - The Congressional Budget Office issued a reporton Senate bill  S. 96, the Improving Rural Call Quality and Reliability Act of 2017, on January 30, 2017. The report estimated that implementing S. 96 would cost $4 million over the 2017-2022 period for the FCC to establish and operate the registry and to promulgate rules establishing service quality standards.

01.26.17 - The Subcommittee on Communications and Technology announced a hearingentitled Reauthorization of NTIA for Thursday, February 2, 2017, at 10:45 a.m.
